Feeling Our Way Into Unconditional Love

A golden woodland....

It's easy to love such as this. There is nothing within this image which is not love. I'm really blessed, because this is the view from my bedroom window. Yet I know that when you look at this image, this golden woodland with its strong solemn upgrowing outlines of trees standing in patient solidity, you can feel the unconditional love inherent in this place. Breathe with the feeling, please, and allow it to flow fully into your consciousness. Breathe deeply and fully and allow peace and unconditional love to fill you.

How can we carry this feeling, this hum, this vibration of love that seeks nothing, asks nothing, does not question or define, but rather continues to hum, to vibrate, in subtle perfection into our essence and then radiates from us in a gift of total acceptance of the Other? How can we incorporate this?

It is absurdly simple. We choose to do so.

We breathe deeply and feel it. If the feeling is absent from you and you wonder where you can find it, look at something, anything, in the natural world that surrounds you, uncut grasses, trees, twigs of trees, rocks, hill, flow of unrestrained water... Feel its essence. For its essence is unconditional love. Feel it, allow it to fill you and then radiate that out from you. The more that you do this, the more you will incorporate unconditional love.

Breathing brings it into you. Breathe deeply and fully as you feel into the essence of that ground of unconditional love that is the world around us - the natural world. Once you have become used to the feeling and can pull it out effortlessly and almost instantaneously from the world around you, you can begin to see it in human-made things as well. But begin with the natural world.

Okay, now I feel compelled to explain why we begin there and not with, say, a painting. A sublime and sacred object, is it not? Filled with beauty. Informed by an artist's passion and insights... Yes, it is this. Yet it is also informed by an artist's innate and deeply held sense of separation from ALL-That-Is.

Oh! There's that veil again! It benignly and lovingly separates us, by our own will, from the ALL.

The ALL is unconditional love. Trees and flowers and, well, anything really, that is not of human design and therefore holding that inherent separation from ALL within its essence of being, is a Source for you of that unconditional love that IS the world in truth. Ah!            And yes, you guessed it. The more we access this unconditional love and FEEL it, and radiate it outward from us in service to the ALL-That-Is, the more the illusion of separation that the veil has given us melts away. Melts away.

I often feel it really strongly in my third eye chakra area - the forehead, between my eyes. You might feel it in your heart, or in the third eye chakra area, or in your hands or belly. Wherever you feel it, allow it to BE and to flow and to expand in any direction. We become this love. We incorporate it.

And love begets love. And unconditional love begets unconditional love. And we are, as always, the selves we choose to be.
