Physical, Emotional and Mental Well-Being

There is a practice in this ascension project which has brought a sense of unity in all of my various aspects of being, the physical, emotional and mental.

Always, we can align these three as we breathe deeply for a moment or two. This is an immediate and most welcome adjustment that we can make to our frequency. Breathe a vibration, or a colour, or a frequency into first your mental body, then your emotional body and then your physical body. Try it, for example, with the word 'peace.' Breathe in and then as you exhale, spread peace throughout your mental body. Breathe in again and as you exhale, breathe peace into your emotional body. Don't worry about where that is or what it is, just intend to do it and you will. Breathe in a third time and as you exhale, breathe peace into your physical body.

You can do this with any word... courage, love, blessing, health, balance.... you name it, you can do it.

But wait! There's more.

In the physical body, I am practicing bringing the divine essence of myself into the soles of my feet. This is the most grounded and grounding part of my body, and so bringing the divine essence of myself into the soles of my feet grounds the divine energy that I am in my purest essence right into the physical. I take it from my heart center as I breathe in and then send it all the way down to the soles of my feet on the exhale.
In the emotional body, I am practicing being in unconditional love for all that is. Whenever I feel that I am not experiencing unconditional love, I stop, check in and toggle to that frequency of unconditional love in my emotional body. I associate the emotional body with my heart center, so I send unconditional love from my heart center into my emotional body and just flood my emotional body with that unconditional love for all that is. It is like bathing in the essence of bliss and joy.
In the mental body, I am practicing being in the now moment, focusing fully on what is now, on what I am experiencing now. I don't have to like what I am experiencing now. I simply have to be fully present with it. This practice brings me into complete acceptance, which allows unconditional love, which is the energy of the divine essence of myself. So this three-faceted practice is really all ONE.

You can come up with your own practice and probably already have. Enjoy the flow. Enjoy the process and if you feel like it, you can try my practice to see if you like it for yourself.

Please feel free to share your ideas and processes and practices by posting a comment.

For Others Are Your Self

We are truly all One. Others are reflections of your being. They are your teachers, your mirror, your playmates in this beautiful game.

I invite you to make it your intention to be fully present to each person as you interact with them, whether you do so in an email, a blog post, a telephone call or face to face. You have this wonderful opportunity to be fully present to them and with them, bringing the divine Self that you truly are in to the interaction and sharing that with them, simply by being. You don't have to make a point of saying anything about it. It is an energy which is shared.

As you do this, you see, you are being fully present with yourself, for others are your self.

Interestingly, as you give your full attention to another person who is speaking and being in their truth, you will feel heard, you will feel recognized.

Just Be

There is a tendency to try, and then try, and then try some more. It doesn't even matter what we are trying to do, just so long as we are trying to do something.

Let that go.

Let that go.

Take that liberating breath. Fill your lungs and then exhale relaxation into your body.

We can float from experience to experience.

We can let go of the need to control anything. Acceptance is key.

Just be.

Being in the moment without trying to change it, without trying to change yourself, feels so wonderful that I never want to leave it.

Appreciation for What Is

It's one thing to bear with it all.

It's quite a different energy within us when we are grateful for it all.

As a person who has lived with depression, chronic pain and various health issues for the past 35 years, I have a lot of experience with endurance. I have spent years and years enduring living in a body until I could finally be released. I said 'Yes' to this, but it was a "Yes, I will endure with as much grace, courage and wisdom as I can until I am released from the suffering." It was not an appreciation of the experiences of being a body. There are always pleasures. Even when in pain, the numbing effects of alcohol or drugs can be appreciated. But this numbing is an attempt to get away from an experience that we have chosen to have. We would not be having the experience if we had not chosen to do so.

So, there is a whole other level of 'Yes.'

There is the possibility of appreciation for and gratitude for every single experience that we have ever had in the physical realm within which we make our way.

Yes, what an honour and a pleasure it is for me to experience this, to be this. This every moment being and becoming is a miracle of self-expression and creation.

Physicality itself is the gift of the present moment. It is not 'that which must be borne so that I can do what I came here to do.'

It is more something along the lines of this:

Wow. I get to be here on this amazing planet, part of this amazing collective of human beings, exploring physicality, expressing all of the love that is in my heart here in this world. I get to be this littleness enjoining the limitlessness. I am transforming the littleness, the limited physical world, transforming it with the love that is in my heart. I am the self who stands separate and alone in the world of form and feeling, and also I am the observer of that self. I say yes to every single moment, to every single experience. I appreciate every moment. I am grateful for every experience.

That is the crux of the matter. Appreciation is the essence of the shift from bearing it to something very different. I appreciate the ache in my back, the throb in my feet, the sunlight blinding me as I look westward at day's end.

I appreciate every experience. I appreciate all that is.

When we say 'Yes' to all of the experiences, everything changes, our experience of everything changes, because we shift something deep within us.
