How to Experience Heaven on Earth

How to Experience Heaven on Earth - a primer

Hold no expectations about how things should be, must be.
Hold no agenda about how it should turn out, what should happen.
Judge no one.
Know no desire for anything.

Accept everything.
Appreciate what appears before you.
......

I never said it was easy.
...     ...

Simple, yes, but not easy.

A Joyful Offering

It has been quite some time since I have written here. I am glad to do so today.

It has become apparent to me over the past few months that I can only do what I feel to do in any given moment. I cannot force myself through a sense of obligation or guilt or fear of lack to do anything anymore. When I do, I just feel terrible. This may or may not be true for you also.

The strength of it within me is palpable. I have been doing some gardening on this construction site that is supposed to be a homestead. Slowly, a lawn is beginning to appear and here and there are flowers and other small plants that I have put into the soil with high hopes. Yet, even though I love to garden and enjoy plants, I cannot bring myself to do this work from any vibration except the vibration of joy and appreciation. When I do, I suffer and feel that something is very wrong.

Slowly, slowly, I create a garden around me.

Slowly, slowly, I create a heaven both within and outside of me.

I was recently inspired to joyfully and carefully edit all of the posts from this blog that were written in the last months of 2010.

From late August until the end of December, 2010, I wrote almost every weekday on this blog. Now, these posts have been edited and published as a book. I published them and now offer them through  http://www.lulu.com/. The book's title is Ascension Journey - Part One. There is also an e-book version available for download to your computer.

I had a copy of the book sent to me for further proofreading and this is taking a good long time, so the first edition might still contain a few errors here and there. Each morning, in the stillness of the day's beginning, I read a little bit of it. I love the energy that lives within and between the words! It might sound strange to have me say that about my own writing, but I can assure you that it is so. The energy comes from my higher self. The wisdom, whatever wisdom there is here, comes from my divine self. I joyfully offer it to you here and through the book that I have published. I will publish Part Two a little later on.

I do this in joy and love because that is the only way that I can do anything these days.

Bliss is being in resonance with my own self.

A Great Game to Play!

I want to introduce you to a wonderful new game that I have been playing for the past few days. It has shifted something in me and I am filled with joy and happiness and love since I began playing this game.

Start by saying something positive about yourself: "I am magnificent!"

Next, say something else wonderful about yourself: "I am perfect, just as I am."

Now combine the two: "The magnificence of my perfection is exceeded only by the perfection of my magnificence!"

Finally, stroke your chin thoughtfully like a college professor and say, "Hmmmmmm" in a happily wondering sort of way.

Doing this will fill you with glee and joy and happiness just to be alive. There is something about the combination of the two positive things in that way that just makes the whole game something special.

Let's try it again.

I am beautiful.

I am radiant.

The radiance of my beauty is exceeded only by the beauty of my radiance. YES!!!!! Hmmmmmmm.

Don't forget the 'Hmmmmmm' part. It's VERY important.

Magnificent, gorgeous, radiant, wonderful Lu signing out.

Hiatus

I just looked it up in my father's big old Oxford Concise. It means, "a break in continuity."

I'm not going to write here for awhile. A hiatus will occur in this blog.

Why? Everything that comes easily, or fairly easily, through words has been covered here in the past months. I've written a great many posts. What is left is amorphous, very new to me, and I'm feeling like I'm feeling my way. I can't really tell you much about it - it's an open space of not minding what happens, of loving the world.

I've said so much in the posts here. Just read back. There's so much there! And I've begun to compile these posts into a text that reads chronologically. If anyone reading this is interested in receiving a copy of this compilation, let me know.

A strange country lies before us. I've always been okay with not knowing where I am exactly, or where I'm going, specifically. I've always enjoyed a good bush-whacking session - scrambling through undergrowth and realizing yet again that there is yet another ridge to scale and cross.

Enjoy the journey.

Energy Flows

I've known for a long time that what we focus on is what we give our energy to. Parents learn this as they struggle with their two-year-olds. What they may not realize is that this is always true.

Even when we oppose something, our focus on opposition gives energy to the thing opposed. "Ignore it and it will go away," my mother used to say. I thought she was being hopelessly passive, hiding her head in the sand, pretending that something distasteful didn't exist so that she could go on with her day without having to think about it. Later in my life, I came simply to prefer giving my attention to what I choose rather than to anything else.

Try this. Begin a statement with the words, "I need..." Feel the energy associated with that. Now, begin a statement with the words, "I will..." And feel how the energy is different. And again, begin a statement with the words, "I oppose..." or "I am against..."  Feel the energy. Now begin a statement with the words, "I support...." or "I encourage...." And feel how the energy is different.

And then multiply that subtle energy shift by every thought and every intention and every person on this planet.

I was thinking about revolution. I believe that the most revolutionary act is the act of encouraging people to educate themselves and giving them the tools to do so. Public libraries are revolutionary... or is it that they are evolutionary?

(And isn't it interesting that these two words are so closely linked etymologically. Only that one letter separates them. To revolve is to refold, to turn something back in on itself. Revolution is a turning and has come to mean a complete reversal of an established order. To evolve is to unfold. Evolution has come to mean the unfolding of all our potentials, the opening up of our true nature through a natural process.)

I encourage evolution. I support the unfolding of all our potentials. I will evolve. And I will do this by looking forward, not back. I will do this by focusing on what I choose to see in the world around me and making that my home. That is where I place my attention and that is where my energy flows.

And you, Co-Creator of the world? Where do you place your attention? Where do you send your energy?

Emergence

Whenever I see the numbers 9:11 on a digital clock, I don't think of ambulances, sirens or that terrible day in 2001. I say to myself one word: Emergence. It is the root word of the more ubiquitous "emergency".

This beautiful word summons up all sorts of connotations for me. It is the emergence of truth from illusion, confusion and obfuscation. It is the emergence of the divine self, the whole self, the vast illimitable soul self from a great story of flesh and bone and hunger. It is the emergence of green growing things after another season of ice and snow here in the north.

After four months of heavy snows and winter rains that froze into hard ice, the forest floor has emerged once again into the clear air and the sunlight. Everything looks squashed, flattened and sodden. The earth here has had a long sleep and is awakening once again. Walking in the woods, slowly and carefully on the wet, slippery ground, I saw already the slender, pointed green fingers of wild garlic taking a stand. Only one day before I walked there, the snow covered the ground where they grew. The yearning of green growing things, the will to BE and to BE and to BE again is so strong that they just couldn't wait, wouldn't wait. I saw daffodils reaching upwards, green and courageous, as well. Where less than a week ago was two feet of snow, the growing season has begun.

And so it is with us. We grow up and out and extend our reach always and forever. There is no end to our urge to meet every potential that is within us, every promise that we have ever made to ourselves. After years and years and lifetimes of waiting and watching and hoping and learning and making do and almost giving up, after such a long hard season of separation from Self, this is our emergence.

This is our emergence. Those who are drawn to my words and who resonate with the messages I compose here are coming into their spring time, no matter their age or situation. New life beckons. New truths emerge. New energy becomes our playground. Our newly integrated divinity shines from our eyes.

Whenever I see the numbers 9:11 on a digital clock, I say one word: Emergence.

Five Attributes of God

Even though so much seems to be new for us these days, you have been here before. In moments of transcendence you have reached this frequency, this awareness. In moments of peace, strung like the rarest jewels on the string of your lifetime, you have known this perfection. In those moments when you were so filled with love for another that you forgot yourself, you have embodied this compassion.

I am reminded of the five attributes of God, as given in Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations With God:  gratitude, appreciation, joy, love and blessing.

There is no need in God. There is no lack in God. There is no fear in God. There is no grievance in God. If it is not gratitude, appreciation, joy, love or blessing; then it is not God. Compassion and honouring are there too - in appreciation is honouring of the other and in love is compassion for the other.

I choose to experience within myself, more and more, these five attributes. When I do, I am in heaven on this Earth.

The energies of the great shift of the ages, the galactic alignment of our Earth and our Sun with the very heart of our galaxy, invites us to this. The quickening of our evolution, as we approach the gateway of December, 2012, invites us to this. The Christ consciousness that now permeates our world, what I have taken to calling the Second Coming of Christ, invites us to this.

And just as a side note here - we are not the passive recipients of these energies and invitations. We created the 2012 gateway. We bring in the Christ consciousness. We embody it. We take in the energies pouring into our sphere through the solar winds; we take them in and anchor them in physicality. Then we radiate them to our companions through our smiles, through our love, through our wisdom.

This is not being done to us. We are creating this and we are, more and more, holding this frequency of the five attributes of God within us. As we do this, we are transforming our world.

Take a breath.
